          The Sangguniang Bayan of Palo have extended appreciation and congratulations to Mar Francis Sudario by way of Municipal Resolution No. 2020-34.

          Mar Francis Sudario, a resident of Barangay Naga-naga, Palo, Leyte, finished 3rd place on Stage 9, and, placed 53rd in the over-all ranking of the 10th year staging of the Ronda Pilipinas.

          The Ronda Pilipinas 2020, a 10-stage cycling event, fired its starting gun in Sorsogon on February 23rd and finished off at Vigan on March 4th.

          Mar Francis Sudario’s achievement is a testament for his love of cycling, dedication to the sports, and serves as an inspiration to the youth of Palo. It is indeed one for the books.

          The Sangguniang Bayan of Palo have extended appreciation and congratulations to Christopher Garado by way of Municipal Resolution No. 2020-33.

          Christopher Garado, a resident of Barangay Arado, Palo, Leyte, finished 2^nd place on Stage 9, and, placed 35^th in the over-all ranking of the 10^th year staging of the Ronda Pilipinas.

          The cycling event, Ronda Pilipinas, is a way of giving Filipinos an avenue, especially the younger generation, to someday make it big in the sport of cycling as according to the organizers. The 10-stage event kicked off at Sorsogon on February 23^rd and concluded in Vigan on March 4^th of this year.

         Christoper Garado’s achievement did not go unnoticed as the Sangguniang Bayan of Palo wishes and hopes that his feat serves as an inspiration to youth of Palo.

          The Sangguniang Bayan of Palo have conducted a training-seminar entitled “Coaching on Mental Wellness for Leaders” as a measure and one of the responses by the Sangguniang Bayan to the COVID-19 threat, held on July 24, 2020, at the Function Hall, Palo Municipal Building, Palo, Leyte.

          In attendance were Vice Mayor Ronnan Christian Reposar, Sangguniang Bayan Members Jonathan Chiquillo, Chiqui Ruth Uy, Gregorio Dolina, Aaron Roca, Imelda Parado, Felipe Ygrubay, Jon Jezreel Agner, Roel Baldevia, and Oriell Chiquillo.

         The Sanggunian Secretary, Edgardo Pedrosa and Board Secretary, Brian Valente Elorcha were in attendance as well.

         The training-seminar tackled on information and basic approach with person(s) who shows changes in terms of behavioral patterns due to mental stress, fatigue or illness. It aimed to equip the attendees with the basic knowledge in dealing with individuals who were, in one way or the other, affected with the COVID-19 disease.

          The training-seminar was facilitated by Life Coaches Kay Zabala, Marife Garfin, and Sharon Paciencia of Life Coach Philippines.
