The Provincial Government of Leyte held an oath taking ceremony for all newly elected officials in the province. The ceremonious event was held on June 29, 2019 at The Oriental Hotel, Palo, Leyte.
Newly elected officials coming from the five (5) districts, and its respective municipalities, of the province of Leyte were in attendance.
The program was opened by the Municipal Mayor of Palo, the Hon. Remedios Matin L. Petilla, through her welcome address. And right after her address, the oath taking proper followed.
The newly elected officials of the Municipality of Palo present were, the Hon. Mayor Frances Ann B. Petilla, Hon. Vice Mayor Ronnan Christian M. Reposar, and the Municipal Councilors, Hon. Jonathan P. Chiquillo, Hon. Chiqui Ruth C. Uy, Hon. Magdalena M. Torres, Hon. Gregorio P. Dolina, Jr., Hon. Aaron H. Roca, Hon. Imelda B. Parado, Hon. Felipe T. Ygrubay, Jr., and Hon. Jezreel S. Agner.
The Palo municipal officials’ oath of office was inducted by the Honorable Judge Georgina U. Perez, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 45.
The Honorable Governor Leopoldo Dominico L. Petilla took his oath of office as well. And the oath was inducted by the Honorable Edgardo L. de los Santos, Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals.
Governor Petilla delivered his inaugural address after the oath taking of all newly elected officials from the different districts, and its respective municipalities, of the province, and brought the affair to a close.
