A public hearing was held to review another set of four (4) draft ordinances entitled;
1. “An Ordinance Mandating All Coastal Barangays within the Municipality of Palo, Leyte to Conduct Coastal Clean-Up Activities in their Jurisdiction as Part of the Watershed and River Protection Efforts to Improve and Maintain the Environmental Integrity of the Municipality’s Coastal Areas and Waterways.”
2. “An Ordinance Implementing Reforestation Programs to Restore and Preserve the Binahaan River of Palo’s Ecosystem and Promote Environmental Sustainability in the Municipality.”
3. “An Ordinance Establishing the Mangrove Reforestation Program in the Municipality of Palo.”
4. “An Ordinance Promoting the Use of Climate-Resilient Tree Species in Reforestation Program in the Municipality of Palo.”
