The Sangguniang Bayan of Palo warmly welcomed the recently appointed Palo Municipal Police Station Acting Chief, Police Major Aldo O. Mendiola, on December 1, 2020 right after the regular session at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall.
PMaj. Mendiola expressed his gratitude and discussed a little bit regarding his plans of action relative to the peace and order concerns in the municipality. Likewise, he has in mind the creation of Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (SWAT) and Tourist-Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection Unit (TOPCOP) under the Palo Municipal Police Station, and will be presenting the said subject on the next scheduled meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC).
Prior to being assigned to the Palo Municipal Police Station, he was stationed in the Municipality of Guiuan, Eastern Samar and at the Leyte Police Provincial Office (LPPO), Tacloban City, respectively.
Police Major Aldo O. Mendiola hails from Tanauan, Leyte.
