The local chief executive of the municipality, Mayor Frances Ann B. Petilla, issued an executive order, Executive Order No. 14, series of 2020, imposing and implementing curfew within the entire municipality.
The imposition of the curfew is to be observed from 8:00pm to 5:00am the following day. Other than the exceptions provided under the executive order, all residents of the municipality are prohibited from staying outside of their residences and workplaces within the curfew hours.
The said executive order includes as well the temporary closure of non-essential business establishment, prohibition of public assemblies, and extension of the suspension of classes in the private and public schools in all levels within the Municipality of Palo.
